Hunt out your unwanted mobile phones or print cartridges

Every year millions of mobile phones and ink jet printer cartridges
are thrown away and end up as landfill. There is now an alternative
that saves waste and raises funds for wildlife conservation.
Mobile phones
We have teamed up with Re:cycle Your Mobile who will collect unwanted mobile phones and recycyle them to raise funds for Suffolk Wildlife Trust. They operate a zero landfill policy and you can request a free post envelope below and send your phone to them.We also have collection boxes at Lackford Lakes and Redgrave and Lopham Fen.
Print cartridges
Locally based In House Recycling are running a scheme to collect print
cartridges for refilling . All you
have to do is send your empty printer cartridge to In House- and they
in turn will forward a donation of 50p-£2 to the Trust. (The donation
varies according to the type and age of the cartridge.)
Obviously the more cartridges and mobile phones we generate the greater
the benefit for the Trust. Please ask colleagues at work and friends
and neighbours if they will participate.
In House will also collect batches of 10+ laser
cartridges from businesses. If you use these at work, please do speak
to colleagues about saving them to support the Trust's work for wildlife
conservation.
Please note that at present Epsom cartridges cannot
be refilled. Please do not send Epsom cartridges.
