One of the Trust's greatest strengths is our network
of local volunteers, who represent the Trust in their local community.
This helps to give the Trust a high profile throughout Suffolk and gives
local communities an opportunity to become directly involved in our
work.
Our key local contacts are our network
of 14 local groups. They organise a wide
range of activities throughout the year to provide opportunities
for people to enjoy and find out more about local wildlife and to
encourage more support for the Trust.
The wide variety of activities organised by the
groups range from guided walks and reserve open days, to slide talks,
plant sales, coffee mornings and art shows! Visit the events
diary to plan your days and nights out.
The Trust's local groups depend on the dedication
of their volunteers - from running cake stalls
to delivering magazines and recruiting members. Click on the group names
to find out more about their activities and the ways they support the
Trust.
